Have you tried these free Pinterest tools that are just like Google?

As a digital marketing instructor, it's important to me that I'm up to date on a variety of PPC platforms beyond my one true love, Google Ads. Did you know that Pinterest is a gold mine of user intent?

I know, it sounds sacrilegious for a Google Ads trainer to say that, but it's true!

I’m certified in Meta, LinkedIn and Amazon Ads, which is really helpful when I'm coaching or teaching practitioners coming from these areas. And every now and then, I like to poke around Pinterest Ads.

Recently, I discovered 2 free Pinterest tools that are strikingly similar to some of my favourite Google tools, so I had to share them with you.

1. Pinterest Keyword Planner

I see your Google Ads keyword planner, and I raise you... Pinterest keyword planner!

Anyone can access this keyword tool by creating a Pinterest ad account, so you can see what searches are trending on Pinterest, and plan your organic and/or paid content accordingly.

Google isn't the only place where SEO matters - Pinterest SEO is its own discipline, too! And the free Pinterest keyword planner is a great place to start.

2. Pinterest Trends

I see your Google Trends, and I raise you... Pinterest Trends!

This publicly accessible free tool will show you what's trending right now in various countries, and allow you to search for interests and keywords that are relevant to your business.

Google isn't the only place to discover trends; as a prominent discovery platform, especially in the ecommerce space, you should check out Pinterest Trends for new ideas.

PPC friends, even if you're not running Pinterest Ads, you should check out these two free tools to help you increase customer insight and improve your marketing.

Will you check out Pinterest Keyword Planner and Pinterest Trends?
